You Do Not Need to Be a Programmer to Build Your Own Tools

For decades, building software meant years of learning to code. That barrier is gone. Vibe Coding is the practice of describing what you want in plain language and letting AI generate the working code, and this course teaches translators and other non-coders how to do it confidently and safely.

This is not a traditional programming course. It is built for people who have never written code and do not want to become full-time developers, but who do want to automate the repetitive parts of their work. You will learn to:

• Generate, run, and fix small scripts without prior coding knowledge
• Automate repetitive language tasks: file conversion, find-and-replace at scale, glossary checks, and formatting
• Build simple personal apps and utilities tailored to your workflow
• Read AI-generated code well enough to trust it and catch obvious mistakes
• Iterate calmly when something does not work the first time

Every example is rooted in real language-work scenarios, so you finish each lesson with something you can actually use. We emphasize practical judgment: when a tool is worth building, when to keep it simple, and how to avoid the common traps that frustrate beginners.
